About NZCU Baywide
Like all the coolest things, Credit Union Baywide (trading as NZCU Baywide) has been around since the early ’70s. We are a 100% New Zealand owned financial cooperative, which means we are owned by the people – you and other fellow New Zealander’s just like you.
> Our number one responsibility is to our customer-owners
> Our funds are sourced from the community we serve, and
> Our lending supports individuals and families who live or work in New Zealand.
You are our customers, and our owners. You tell us what you need, right now and for your future, and we work hard to make sure you have it.
Whatever your needs, we are on hand to respond. We understand what’s important to you, because you tell us and we listen.
Any money we make, you make, because our profits go back to our customers through top interest rates on savings, low cost loans, and very reasonable fees.
We’re a one-stop-shop whether it’s bank accounts for the kids, a mortgage for Mum and Dad, insurance, savings or term deposits. If you live in New Zealand’s lower North Island, we’re here for you.
We provide our customers with:
> Loans and mortgages
> Savings and investment accounts
> Current ‘Everyday’ accounts
> Insurance services.
We make it easy for you to check your accounts through:
> Convenient branch locations nationwide
> 24-hour telephone and internet banking
> A nationwide ATM/EFTPOS facility.
We do have some impressive numbers: 95% of NZCU Baywide customers are more than satisfied with the service they receive (recent customer survey). But you’re not a number, you’re You and that’s what we like about you.
We treat you with dignity and respect, and you have an equal say in how your credit union is run. As a customer, and an owner, you can vote at Annual General Meetings as well as stand for a position on the Board of Directors.
